A Tincture of Time: Ultrasound Dance
A Tincture of Time: a psychedelic art film set in a hospital about a mother’s journey to save her ailing son
Last summer I got a small grant to begin sketching out some ideas on this project with the hopes that the sketches could help the project grow into something bigger. The grant is mostly being used to pay collaborators, which is a new and rad experience for me. These images are from the first (and only as we wait out Coronavirus) night of experimentation with collaborators.
I had an idea to try and make a diagnostic ultrasound dance using light, fabric and dancers. I want to capture that feeling of watching something tremendously important that you are powerless to understand.
